This is my 4th purchase from Buckle Down. All 4 times I’ve purchased a collar XL and matching 6’ leash. I have Great Danes and love that they make thick collars with sturdy clasps in sizes large enough for my boys necks. Also huge fan of Grateful Dead and there are so many options to choose from. I have three Danes currently- 2 of them are in the same collars I bought them 5 years ago and they’re holding up so well. Their leashes are also in great condition and have stood the test of time against my 200 & 180 pounds pups. My most recent purchase isn’t the same quality I’ve received over the last 5 years. The material is thinner and not as durable. The clasp for the leash isn’t as “heavy duty” and the material is thinner and less durable (I compared the old and new sets side by side). My 9 month old Dane wore his new collar and leash for 15 minutes on a walk and the leash is already fraying and coming apart. I’m really disappointed and this will probably be my last purchase as a result.
